When can I come for a massage?

August 24, 2020

"When can I come for a massage" -  is a question I've been asked a couple of times now.

It is great to see that people still value the importance of regular massage, especially in those challenging times, where we all have to adapt to the new circumstances. I can assure you, there is nothing I would like to do more than invite you back to my massage room at Neal's Yard Remedies. Unfortunately, Neal's Yard Head office is still busy making sure, all required safety measures recommended by the government are in place before therapists can return to work.

As much as the delay is a little frustrating, I hope you agree, that safety is more important and we just need to be patient for a little longer.
I am also looking for alternative locations - just in case, which would potentially allow me to offer massage treatments sooner and from a location closer to my home, but it want to make sure it's the right place.
In the meantime, I have been busy preparing all required documentation, including a full risk assessment, and arranged the required PPE, ready for resuming work asap.
I will also introduce you to a new system, allowing me to move my consultation forms online, reducing the face-to-face time when you book in for a massage. Due to COVID-19, you will also need to complete a COVID-19 pre-treatment declaration form online, max 24 hours prior to your massage. I hope you understand the extra measures not only I but all other massage therapists have to put in place, to follow government guidelines, and to create the best possible environment to work as

safely as possible.
