Nadine's Background

I used to work as a medical assistant in a busy GP practice in Germany.
In my spare time, I enjoyed cycling, swimming, horse-riding (especially long and relaxed hacks), and walking my dog across the beautiful countryside called "Hunsrück" where I grew up.
I was also part of the DLRG (German lifeguard team) and enjoyed many Summer days at the local natural outdoor pool, Scuba diving with friends in German reservoirs, or sometimes in the Mediterranean Sea.
My neighbours, both doctors practicing alternative medicine, inspired me to learn about complementary therapies.
As part of my personal development, I completed a non-medical practitioner course, trained in nutrition counselling, took part in Homoeopathy courses, and completed a foundation course in Craniosacral Therapy with the vision to one day offer complementary treatments from my non-medical practitioner practice. In 2006 personal circumstances lead to my relocation to the UK.

My Massage
Training Journey

To make the best use of my existing knowledge and skills I signed up for a part-time evening course at the White Rose College of Health & Beauty.
I qualified as Complementary Therapist (ITEC Level 3 Diploma) in 2011. In 2013 I started my NO HANDS ® Massage training and qualified as NO HANDS Therapist in 2015. Since then, NO HANDS has become my main massage style.
My EMMETT journey began in 2016, and I qualified as Advanced EMMETT Practitioner in 2019. I am also a qualified EMM-Tech Tutor, allowing me to run short courses in Easy Muscle Management with selected moves from the EMMETT Technique Practitioner course.

As part of my professional development, I have also attended training courses in:

Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage (Level 4), Myofascial Dry Cupping, Seated Acupressure (Chair) Massage, Indian Head Massage, Oncology Massage, Pregnancy Massage, MSTR Scar Tissue Release, Trauma Discharge Therapy, Natural Lift Facial Massage, Eastern European Facelifting Technique, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, John Gibbons The Vital Shoulder Complex Masterclass, Cameron Reid's Osteopathic Techniques (Sport & Spine),  Life Coaching and Mental Health First Aid (Level 2).

The additional qualifications allow me to offer a wide selection of different treatment styles and massage techniques to suit individual  client needs and requirements.
As a Massage Professional, I enjoy assisting clients in their massage journeys in a safe and nurturing atmosphere.
I am a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT), your safety and comfort are my primary concern, and I work to the highest clinical standards.
